In order to evaluate possible alternatives for disposal of tailings, including full-scale transient experiments of the patterns of the ocean currents in the Førde fjord we will carry out comprehensive analysis. In December 2006, Nordic Mining entered into agreement with Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) for preparations work on these environmental issues for the Engebø project.
